some thoughts

Im thinking lately.

That. most fiction is in relation or response to a mainstream world that
has rules, and makes some sort of sense, seeming to work.

That obviously isnt true anymore...and im sure hasnt been true for some a long time.

Now.

The script has to be flipped.

Fiction now has to tell of worlds and realities that respond up against a world
that is broken and doesnt make sense most of the time.

It has to portray worlds that work and have rules, places that make sense.

Against the senseless reality we now live in.

fantasy concept philosophy

A concept of a fantasy/ magical realism philosophy
Mostly based on the common TTRPG

Reality is made of cycles or wheels.

It begins with Energy. 
Positive flowing into the Negative
The Greater Cycle or Planes of reality
In the midst of that flow is the Balance

Out of the Balance arises a Storm of potential
Settling out of the Storm are forms and concepts that become the Elements
The Elements are the Inner planes or cycles

Out of the Elemental wheel arises the Emergent plane of reality
The Lesser cycle of matter and mortality,  Life and Death
All worlds that seem most familiar to us reside here.

Beyond the Emergent plane arises the Etheric reality of the Gods
This is the Outer Wheel or cycle of realities.
It Seperates what is Known from the unknown wastes of the far beyond existences

The Etheric realm flows back into the Energetic realm and the Cycles move on.
Each cycle turns and flows changing over the ages and counting time as if an immense clockwork.

Because I've been thinking about this a lot and I think that part of if not the majority of the problems we're dealing with, right now, stem from the fact that the mostly unspoken real "American (Western) Dream" is to be so rich and powerful that you can do and say whatever you want to whomever you want and nobody can Ever hold you accountable for it.


So whenever someone who seemingly Attained that dream is made to face Consequences, even a little bit, it shakes those cultural assumptions at their foundations and everybody panics because they wanted to be untouchable someday!


And if now we're saying they might not get to be, then what's it all for?

- learning a lot of history that i should have learned log ago

donuts
- gotta have sugar

plays and musicals that are being broadcast free
- shakespeare and webber musicals ( and treasure island odd enough )

people talking about warhammer 40k
- perhaps considering worlds far worse is a way of perspective

attempts to get more library cards and access to more books online

the continual remaking and refining of ideas and stories in my mind.

1940 new york big band dance hall.  Again production of X causes collapse of building.

1980 los angeles disco club opening.  Goddess manifests and earthquake occurs.

2020 tokyo trance club.  Production of X combining previous productions.
possible olympics cross over?

Every 40 years a goddess manifests and inspires a creation of a club or music
performance that inevitably causes a disaster leading to massive lost of life.

Survivors of the previous events are pulled to the new manifestations and are
compelled to stop the new event.

2060 is the next expected event.
